Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
- Locum (Laborist) coverage starting ASAP (once credentialed) on an ongoing basis
- Prefer weekday shifts; 3-4 24-hour shifts per month with 24 hours required off between shifts
- Must be comfortable working collaboratively with a Midwife
- OB/GYN physician must be ABMS or AOA board certified
- Active/current ND license or IMLC required; LOQ must have a future expiration date
- Credentialing timeframe estimated at 45-120 days
- Provider will be able to stay at hotel until called in
- Handle low and high risk pregnancies with full delivery services
- Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
- Perform OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation
- Provide routine deliveries including vaginal, low forceps, and decision-making for c-sections
- Manage complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
- Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
- Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Perform surgical gynecology including open and laparoscopic procedures
- Perform operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
- Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
