Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a qualified Locums OB/GYN Physician to provide 24-hour coverage in Warrenton, Virginia. This opportunity involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including emergency evaluations, labor and delivery management, and surgical procedures. Some shifts have a midwife serving as the first call.

Schedule & Coverage

24-hour shifts, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM

Weekend coverage required

On-call responsibilities required

Responsibilities

Perform emergency obstetric and gynecological surgeries as needed.

Conduct OB/GYN triage evaluations and manage urgent clinical presentations.

Provide labor and delivery management.

Deliver recovery and postpartum care.

Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plans.

Collaborate with midwives, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Current DEA registration.

Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Ability to manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies.

Experience with labor and delivery, postpartum care, and emergency surgical procedures.

Availability for 24-hour shifts, including weekends and on-call coverag.
