Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for alocum tenens opportunity in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This inpatient positionprovides overnight and weekend call coverage at a Level III Trauma Center witha Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be experiencedin managing routine and high-risk pregnancies, complex labor and deliverycases, and emergency gynecologic surgeries.
Compensation: $3500/day
Schedule
WeeknightCall: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-7:00 AM
WeekendCall: Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
CoverageNeeded: 3 total weeks, including 3 weekends
Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities
Obstetrics
Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies,including patients with diabetes, hypertension/toxemia, cardiac conditions, andchronic renal or pulmonary disease.
Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring,including NST, CST, and FSE.
Manage routine and complicated deliveries,including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech presentations, and multiplebirths.
Provide VBAC care and repair third- andfourth-degree lacerations.
Manage obstetric emergencies and cesareancomplications, including cases requiring hysterectomy.
Gynecology
Perform emergency and major gynecologicsurgeries, including treatment of ectopic pregnancies, oophorectomy, ovariancystectomy, and extensive lysis of adhesions.
Perform suction D&Cs and other indicatedgynecologic procedures.
Provide emergency gynecologic evaluation andtreatment.

Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Colorado medical license
DEA registration
ACLS certification
