To ensure accurate clinical documentation and coding integrity, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Coding Specialist will perform audits and code patient charts remotely while collaborating with clinicians and operational leaders to support quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities Utilizes computerized coding equipment to code all diagnoses and procedures in accordance with guidelines while meeting quality and productivity standards Provides assistance to field staff regarding OASIS, HOPE, and ICD-10 queries, ensuring accurate coding practices Reviews assessments and plans of care to ensure that coded diagnoses are accurately reflected in documentation Required qualifications High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience Two years of relevant coding experience Oklahoma state certification as OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C), Home Care Clinical Specialist (HCS-O), Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D), Home Care Coding Specialist-Hospice (HCS-H), or Registered Nurse (RN) Experience with computerized coding/abstracting equipment Knowledge of ICD-10 coding guidelines and practices
