Oklahoma Licensed Patient Access Specialist

To support infusion therapy services, the part-time Oklahoma Licensed Patient Access Specialist will manage patient referrals, verify insurance benefits, and communicate with patients and healthcare providers while working remotely. Key responsibilities: Processes orders from referral sources and assesses patient needs upon arrival Verifies patient's benefits and eligibility for requested services, obtaining prior authorizations as needed Communicates with patients, families, and referral sources regarding financial responsibilities and assistance Required qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2+ years of experience in infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, or related healthcare services Proven experience with healthcare insurance plans, including eligibility and authorization processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to productivity and quality standards
