Radiation Oncology opening in MichiganLocated in AlpenaFull-Time & Permanent

  • Open to both practicing physicians and recent/new grads.
  • Willing to provide mentorship to new grads.
  • This is a solo position but would be part of a robust radiation oncology team.
  • The department has one linear accelerator: Varian TrueBeam, with full complement of additional technology to be able to provide evidence-based state of the art care.
  • EPIC EMR.
  • Annual new patients are increasing year over year and currently sit at around 300.
  • Treatments range from 15-25 per day with an average day being 20.
  • Primary diagnoses of these patients are breast, prostate and lung.
  • On average 3-5 new consults and 9-12 follow up clinic patients weekly with the opportunity for added capacity.
  • Experienced staff on site with a culture of continued growth and advancement.
  • Traditional Monday through Friday with some flexibility
  • 1:5 covering multiple sites
Location:Alpena is located in northeast Michigan on the shores of Lake Huron amongst vast forest and endless clear water in a friendly, picturesque city.
