Physician - Radiation Oncology


Job Details:

  • Radiation Oncology physician coverage needed for a 1-year contract

  • Schedule: 3 weeks on/1 week off or 2 weeks per month

  • Day shifts with no call required

  • See approximately 3 new consults daily, with Tuesdays dedicated to all patients receiving radiation (approximately 18-25 patients)

  • Patient population ages 18 and above

  • Work within a Cancer Center setting supported by Rad Techs, APPs, and RNs

  • EMR system: Cerner

  • HDR experience required

  • Facility has upgraded and installed an entirely new imaging/radiation package

  • Board Certification required

  • Active state license required, completed through an accredited education program

  • DEA required

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

The center is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and radiation technology, recently having undergone a full upgrade of its imaging and radiation package. The cancer center supports a multidisciplinary team approach, with dedicated support staff including radiation technologists, advanced practice providers, and registered nurses to ensure high-quality patient care.
