Oncology - Radiation Physician

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a full-time, 6-month locum assignment in Washington. This is a weekday outpatient position with no call, rounding, or admissions.

Assignment Details

• 26-week assignment
• 1.0 FTE
• Coverage needed due to a scheduling gap
• Outpatient Radiation Oncology
• Adult and geriatric patients

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts
• No call
• No weekends listed

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Radiation Oncology
• Provider works independently
• Epic EMR

Patient Volume

• Approximately 15 patients actively on treatment daily
• 2 5 consultations per week
• 5 10 follow-up visits per week

Clinical Responsibilities

• Radiation Oncology consultations
• Simulations
• Treatment management
• Follow-up visits
• Standard Radiation Oncology clinic operations
• No surgical procedures
• No rounding or admissions

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Washington license or IMLC with LOQ required
• IMLC candidates must have at least applied for the Washington license at the time of pre-application
• BLS required
• Must provide case logs documenting at least 50 patients within the previous 24 months

Ideal Candidate

An experienced Radiation Oncologist who can provide consistent Monday Friday outpatient coverage for six months and is comfortable practicing independently. Candidates must have an active Washington license or qualify through the IMLC with LOQ to meet the desired start timeline.
