Overview

As an Onsite IT Support Engineer, you will deliver hands-on desk-side and hardware support for Schneider Electric facilities, ensuring seamless end-user experiences. You will work closely with remote teams to resolve incidents, manage on-site equipment, and support events, while upholding the Digital Citizen model and IT policies. You’ll troubleshoot across devices, infrastructure, and AV, driving reliable operations and user satisfaction. This role offers hands-on impact across global teams and opportunities to grow through training and certifications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide desk-side support to end users when remote resolution is not possible
  • Perform hardware break & fix by replacing defective units
  • Operate tasks on infrastructure equipment under remote administration control
  • Own local equipment and data responsibilities
  • Support BU-specific needs (R&D, GSC, FSE, CCC, Treasury) with high service levels
  • Deploy and manage non-network printers, storage devices, and peripherals
  • Support IT based on TechStop model
  • Offer on-site and remote end-user support, including remote locations
  • Provide on-site support for server maintenance and upgrades
  • Provide L1 support for audio/visual equipment
  • Deliver VIP-level support with high service standards
  • Support special events (annual/board meetings, training) with IT
  • Conduct hardware and software IMACDs, reinstallations, updates, and downloads
Key requirements
  • 3+ years end user support experience across different platforms
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools and VIP user support
  • Microsoft certified professional
  • SCCM, AD, McAfee, MS Outlook, Office 365, ServiceNow
  • Commitment to continually learning the latest platforms and tools
  • Broad technical understanding of IT platforms and services (networking, hardware, cloud, etc.)
  • End-user mindset oriented
