OpenClaw Agent Builder Engineer

Build autonomous OpenClaw agents remotely as a freelance engineer using backend engineering and AI automation expertise. Work flexibly from an eligible country.

Outlier collaborates with leading AI organizations to improve large language models through human feedback. This work focuses on designing, coordinating, and optimizing complex architectural workflows for proactive, multi-step agents. You will evaluate agent behavior in live, non-mocked environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write evaluation rubrics for autonomous agent behaviors
• Debug traces from multi-turn agent interactions
• Stress test agents across complex workflows
• Provide high-density technical feedback on system behaviors

Requirements:

• Two or more years in backend engineering, AI automation, or systems integration
• Build production-grade software with modular separation
• Experience handling live, non-mocked environments
• Integrate multi-turn system interactions effectively
• Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail
