OpenClaw Autonomous Agent Engineer

Build and evaluate OpenClaw autonomous agents remotely as a freelance engineer focused on debugging, testing, and technical feedback.

Outlier seeks contributors with at least two years of backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration experience. You will help train large language models to design, coordinate, and optimize real-world architectural workflows. Production-grade software, live environments, and multi-turn interactions are central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write evaluation rubrics for autonomous agent behaviors
• Debug agent traces across multi-turn interactions
• Stress test agents in live environments
• Provide technical feedback on complex system behaviors

Requirements:

• Two or more years of relevant engineering experience
• Build and maintain modular production-grade software
• Handle live, non-mocked system interactions
• Demonstrate outstanding attention to detail
• Work as an authorized freelance contributor
