SMC is a growing heavy-duty truck and trailer repair company located in Saint-Laurent, Montréal. We are looking for a Bilingual Operations & Finance Associate to join our team and play a key role in the day-to-day management of our operations and financial administration.

This is a hands‑on position for someone who is organized, responsible, comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, and able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, employees, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer invoicing and accounts receivable follow-ups
  • Process vendor invoices and accounts payable
  • Assist with payroll preparation and employee hours
  • Maintain financial records and assist with budgeting and cash‑flow tracking
  • Communicate with customers regarding invoices, payments, estimates, and service matters
  • Communicate with suppliers and manage purchasing/order follow‑ups
  • Assist with work orders, estimates, and repair documentation
  • Coordinate with mechanics, customers, and management on daily shop operations
  • Maintain organized administrative and accounting records
  • Assist management with operational and financial reporting
  • Handle general office administration and other day‑to‑day operational requirements

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable with invoicing, and financial administration
  • Good knowledge of general office software
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong attention to detail and follow‑up skills
  • Professional and dependable attitude
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, automotive, trucking, heavy equipment, or repair‑shop operations is considered a strong asset.

SMC est une entreprise en croissance spécialisée dans la réparation de camions lourds et de remorques, située à Saint‑Laurent, Montréal. Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Associé(e) bilingue aux opérations et finances afin de jouer un rôle important dans la gestion quotidienne de nos opérations et de notre administration financière.

Il s’agit d’un poste pratique et polyvalent destiné à une personne organisée, responsable, capable de travailler dans un environnement dynamique et de communiquer professionnellement avec les clients, fournisseurs, employés et la direction.

Principales responsabilités :

  • Gérer la facturation des clients et effectuer les suivis des comptes recevables
  • Traiter les factures fournisseurs et les comptes payables
  • Participer à la préparation de la paie et au suivi des heures des employés
  • Maintenir les dossiers financiers et participer au suivi des budgets et des flux de trésorerie
  • Communiquer avec les clients concernant les factures, paiements, estimations et services
  • Communiquer avec les fournisseurs et effectuer le suivi des achats et commandes
  • Participer à la gestion des bons de travail, estimations et documents de réparation
  • Coordonner les opérations quotidiennes entre les mécaniciens, les clients et la direction
  • Maintenir les dossiers administratifs et comptables de façon organisée
  • Aider la direction à préparer différents rapports opérationnels et financiers
  • Effectuer diverses tâches administratives nécessaires aux opérations quotidiennes

Exigences :

  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais – obligatoire
  • Excellentes capacités organisationnelles et de communication
  • À l’aise avec la comptabilité, la facturation et l’administration financière
  • Bonne connaissance de Microsoft Excel et des logiciels de bureau
  • Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités et à travailler de façon autonome
  • Excellent souci du détail et bonnes capacités de suivi
  • Attitude professionnelle et fiable
  • Une expérience avec QuickBooks Online, la comptabilité/tenue de livres, le secteur automobile, le camionnage, l’équipement lourd ou les opérations d’un atelier mécanique constitue un atout important.
