Operations Accountant Invoice Processing

Invoice processing and investigations define this Operations Accountant position at Sunoco LP, requiring analytical problem-solving and strong communication. Work independently and collaboratively while priorities shift.

Reporting to the Settlement Manager, the Operations Accountant handles revenue and expense activity across Product Buy, Product Sell, freight, fleet, and brokerage. The position supports settlement review, reconciliations, accurate system data, reporting, analysis, vendor relationships, and billing requirements. Experience in accounting, preferably high-volume processing, is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review settlement lines and process invoices accurately
• Investigate mismatches and reconcile vendor statements
• Maintain accurate data across multiple systems
• Report on data and support Automation Project work
• Collaborate with Logistics, Trade, Credit, and Contracts

Requirements:

• Five or more years of accounting experience
• Experience in an Oil and Gas volumetric settlement environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VLOOKUP, and pivot table proficiency
• Ability to learn systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems
• Strong time management, follow-up, and interpersonal communication skills
