Overview
In this role you will lead strategic direction, governance and client relationships to deliver multiple water and water recycling projects within the AMP8 programme. You will work across capital delivery, coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure governance, risk, cost and change controls are followed. You will drive sustainability outcomes, commercial excellence and account performance while developing teams and shaping long‑term strategy. This role offers the chance to influence major infrastructure projects and advance digital innovation within a safety‑focused culture.
Responsibilities- Drive strategic direction, governance and client relationships to secure opportunities and improve account performance
- Ensure ethical, financially sound operations and shape long‑term business strategy and sustainability outcomes
- Mentor and develop teams, promote best practices and talent growth
- Manage major project delivery, governance and client engagement; translate strategy into actionable plans leveraging C2P, net zero and digital innovation
- Drive safety, quality, cost, programme and sustainability excellence with robust risk, compliance and service delivery
- Build and manage high‑performing teams; optimize resources and specialist expertise
- Shape long‑term strategy, strengthen stakeholder relationships and ensure compliant, commercially sound operations for sustainable growth
- Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE) or equivalent development
- Strong project delivery experience in utilities and major infrastructure
- Proven leadership with commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management
- Knowledge of carbon, sustainability and their impact on project outcomes
