Operations Intelligence Analyst

Salary: $80,000 - 110,000 per year

• Were seeking an early-career candidate with 0–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, economics, supply chain, industrial engineering, agriculture, or a related field.
• A bachelors degree in industrial engineering, agricultural business, supply chain, economics, analytics, data science, computer science, or another technical field is required; a masters degree is preferred.
• Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Salesforce, Tableau, forecasting, optimization, agriculture, manufacturing, food, or logistics is a plus.
• We value practical, hands-on, results-oriented problem solving and the ability to use AI tools to understand business needs without overcomplicating solutions.
• Candidates must be able to work in office, indoor, outdoor, and production environments, including occasional hot or cold conditions; sit, stand, and walk for extended periods; work at heights up to 40 feet and in confined spaces; and use their hands and fingers to complete tasks.
• Strong visual acuity, reading ability, punctuation, and writing skills are required, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
• On-site work is preferred; hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered.
• Availability for after-hours and weekend support as needed is required. During cherry season, approximately June–July, the schedule shifts to Monday–Friday at our Dallesport facility, with a high likelihood of required weekend support.

• Forecast fruit volumes and pack-out rates, updating forecasts as conditions change.
• Improve the use of packing lines, labor, and cold-storage capacity.
• Build real-time monitoring systems that help teams identify and respond to operational issues early.
• Use modern AI to rapidly prototype tools and build assistants that support faster, better decisions.
• Write SQL and use Python to turn operational data into useful systems and insights.
• Work directly with our orchard, warehouse, production, shipping, IT, and sales teams to address operational challenges.

Were Mount Adams Fruit, and our Analytics & AI team is hiring an Operations Intelligence Analyst (Data & AI), an early-career role applying data science, analytics, forecasting, optimization, and AI to improve our day-to-day operations. The role reports to our Data Science Director. Our primary location is Bingen, Washington, with work in person; during cherry season, the work location is our Dallesport facility. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. Annual pay is $80,000–$110,000.
