In this role you support the transfer of scientific test methods from R&D to Operations within Abbott Diabetes Care, leading validation activities in the product release lab. You will develop validation documents and oversee sensor test method validation to ensure compliant, reliable releases. You work cross-functionally to improve test methods and support regulatory adherence, contributing to the scalable manufacturing of glucose monitoring technology. - Create validation documents (plans, protocols, reports)
- Oversee test method validation activities for the sensor release lab
- Provide process development and characterization support for new sensor test methods
- Support sensor release laboratory operational requirements
- Knowledge of change control procedures and processes
- Facilitate cross-functional transfer of test methods from R&D to Operations
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines
- Encourage open technical exchange with other departments/projects
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Present technical information at team meetings
- Bachelor in Science or Engineering discipline
- Experience in test method development and validation (preferably)
- Excellent attention to detail and methodical problem-solving
- Ability to manage projects and prioritise in changing environments
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Good IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
