Ophthalmology opening in Texas Full timeBorger, TXKey Job ResponsibilitiesMedical & Surgical Care: Perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose diseases, and treat eye injuries.Procedures: Perform surgical procedures, including cataract surgery, laser surgery, and corneal repairs.Patient Care: Prescribe medication, eyeglasses, and contact lenses, and provide post-operative care.Documentation & Teamwork: Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR), assist with coding/billing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Specialization: May focus on subspecialties such as retina, glaucoma, or oculoplastic. Qualifications and RequirementsEducation: Medical Degree (MD/DO).Licensure: Active license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.Certification: Board certified or actively pursuing board certification.Experience: Knowledge of, or experience with, OCT, corneal topography, and visual field testing.Skills: Strong microsurgical skills for delicate eye surgeries.
