Locums - Superior, Wisconsin, Ophthalmology Job

Coverage & Schedule:

• Full-time provider coverage needed

• Providers must commit to a minimum of 1 week at a time

• Weekly schedule:

  • 4 days in clinic

  • 1 day dedicated to procedures

• Patient volume:

  • 30+ patients per clinic shift

  • 8+ procedures on dedicated procedure days

Call:

• Call ratio: 1:4

• Call type: Beeper

• Call response time required: 20 minutes

• Callback: Minimal

• Unassigned patients

• Phone consults: 0-1

• Patients seen: 0-1

Clinic & Equipment:

• 6 exam rooms total:

  • 3 provider exam rooms

  • 3 technician rooms

• Heidelberg OCT with viewing station near provider exam lanes

• Auto refractor

• Argos

• Topographer

• Zeiss fundus camera

• Zeiss Humphrey visual field

• B-scan on site

• YAG caps can be performed in office

• EMR: Epic

Practice Setting:

• Trauma Level II

• Hospital stroke certified

Support Staff:

• 3-4 technicians

• 1 office staff

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Ophthalmology

• BLS certification required
