Overview

In this role you will own and support our Oracle Cloud HCM platform, ensuring reliable service for the organisation and employees. You will collaborate with the Applications Team to shape enhancements, resolve complex incidents, and drive value from the Oracle Cloud investment. You’ll manage integrations, updates, and testing, while guiding stakeholders and junior colleagues. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position in a mission-driven council committed to serving diverse communities. Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve complex Oracle Cloud HCM incidents from diagnosis to resolution
  • Lead system enhancements and developments through requirements, testing, implementation and post-go-live support
  • Coordinate and support integrations between Oracle Cloud and feeder systems, including Oracle PaaS solutions
  • Manage quarterly Oracle updates, maintenance, and testing to ensure stability and compliance
  • Collaborate with third-party support partners to address issues and drive service improvements
  • Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on Oracle Cloud HCM functionality and processes
  • Support and deliver medium-scale projects to enhance the Oracle environment
  • Line manage and develop team members, offering leadership, coaching and development
Key requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM including Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, OTL, ORC and BI Publisher
  • Experience configuring and developing Oracle Cloud HCM to meet business needs
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience managing changes and enhancements through the full delivery lifecycle
  • Collaborative approach with ability to build relationships across technical and business teams
