Oracle DBA Lead

In this role you lead the Oracle POD and own the Oracle database platform elements of the migration, from build to safe data movement from the legacy Oracle estate. You will guide DBA engineers through migration, validation and cutover, ensuring smooth integration with the wider platform. You’ll troubleshoot Oracle issues, optimize performance, and support governance and transition to BAU. This position offers exposure to complex, mission-critical environments within a global IT services context.

• Lead build and configuration of Oracle platform components in the target environment
• Direct DBA engineers on migration, validation and cutover of Oracle data
• Translate designs into operations and ensure integration with the wider platform
• Resolve Oracle platform issues and support performance/scalability testing
• Support governance approvals and transition to BAU

• 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience
• Expertise in Oracle 19c and Oracle 21c
• Proven Oracle platform administration and DBA leadership
• Strong knowledge of database migration and reconciliation
• Experience with infrastructure integration and performance tuning
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) administration
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
