Overview

In this role you will own the lifecycle of physical IT assets within a banking environment, building and governing asset management frameworks in a greenfield setup. You will contribute to a Centre of Excellence for IT Asset Management and align practices with global standards and regulatory frameworks. Expect to drive governance, audit readiness, and cost optimization across EMEA as the hardware asset function matures. This is a strategic opportunity to shape asset governance in a regulated, resilience-focused organization.

Responsibilities
  • Own the lifecycle process for physical IT assets
  • Lead the transformation of the HAM function across EMEA
  • Build out ITAM frameworks in a greenfield environment
  • Ensure full lifecycle governance, audit readiness, and cost optimisation
  • Align ITAM practices with regulatory frameworks (e.g., DORA)
  • Contribute to technology governance and resilience initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a banking environment
Key requirements
  • Extensive experience in IT asset management or IT operations in a regulated FS environment
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL, CMDBs, and asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
  • Experience building frameworks beyond BAU in a large organization
  • Background from a large regulated FS environment, preferably banking
  • Greenfield environment experience leading framework development
