Oracle Functional Consultant

In this role you will support the delivery of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) solutions for a high-profile government programme. You will work remotely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into functional Oracle configurations, supporting end-to-end implementation, upgrades and enhancements. You will lead design workshops, produce functional specs, and guide UAT, training and go-live activities to ensure successful delivery. This is a mission-critical, secure environment requiring strong communication and autonomous delivery within a remote team.

• Lead functional design workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Configure and support Oracle EBS modules to meet business needs
• Provide functional expertise across Oracle applications and business processes
• Support end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects
• Produce functional specifications, solution designs, and configuration documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and testing activities
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities
• Provide ongoing functional support and consultancy to stakeholders

• Extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)
• Proven experience with Oracle functional setup and configuration
• Experience delivering Oracle implementation and transformation projects
• Knowledge of Oracle Finance and Procurement modules (AP, FA, GL, Purchasing)
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
• Experience producing functional documentation and solution designs
• Ability to work independently within a remote delivery team
• Active SC Clearance (current and transferable)
• Previous experience in Central Government/Defence/Public Sector or other secure environments
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes and best practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
