Overview

In this role you will design, deliver, and operate Oracle-centric cloud architectures across OCI and major hyperscalers. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping multi-cloud solutions and leading data centre exit and migration programs. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable landing zones and robust runbooks, driving value through architecture governance and pre-sales support. This opportunity offers impact across cloud strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization in a global, client-focused setting.

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle and multi-cloud initiatives, from requirements to delivery and handover
  • Engage stakeholders to translate needs into viable, cost-effective designs; present proposals and business cases
  • Lead architecture assurance reviews ensuring security, performance, resilience, and compliance
  • Define reusable solution patterns and reference architectures for Oracle workloads
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with project managers to maintain solution integrity during delivery
  • Support pre-sales activities, including RFP/RFI responses and SoW preparation
  • Design High-Level and Low-Level Designs for Oracle and multi-cloud infrastructure
  • Build Cloud Landing Zones across OCI and hyperscalers; implement network, identity, governance and security guardrails
  • Define multi-cloud integration patterns and unified identity management
  • Create architecture docs, blueprints, and runbooks; run design workshops
  • Administer and optimize Oracle databases (11g–19c) and EBS environments; manage cloud DB deployments
  • Lead EBS migrations to cloud and manage shared tiers, integrations, and patch cycles
  • Drive data centre exit programs; plan waves, perform discovery, and execute cut-overs
  • Deliver database migrations and assess cloud readiness with TCO/ROI analysis
  • Administer Linux systems and optimize performance for Oracle workloads
  • Automate infrastructure and DBA tasks using IaC and scripting; manage monitoring and observability
  • Maintain security and compliance controls and implement cloud security architectures
Key requirements
  • OCI Certified — Architect Associate or Professional
  • At least one hyperscaler certification: Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Extensive Oracle DB administration experience (11g, 12c, 19c) including RAC, Data Guard, RMAN
  • Oracle EBS administration (R12.1/R12.2) including cloning, patching and migrations to cloud
  • Experience building cloud landing zones and multi-cloud connectivity
  • Experience with Oracle GoldenGate or similar replication/CDC tools
  • Proficiency with Terraform and/or Ansible; experience with OCI Resource Manager
  • Scripting skills (Shell, Python); Linux administration
  • Strong communication with technical and C-suite audiences
  • Independent, proactive delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Ability to work in complex, multi-vendor environments
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture and services
  • OCI DB deployments ( ), Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM
  • EBS R12.1/R12.2 administration and migration to cloud
