Orchestrade Specialist (C6B409F)

Referment is working with a global investment firm building a new post-trade platform as a major greenfield technology initiative. The firm is looking for an Orchestrade specialist who can combine hands-on platform expertise with a strong understanding of financial products, risk and market data.

You will join an operations software engineering team and work closely with developers, finance teams and platform users. The remit spans integration, deployment and administration as well as the implementation of financial models and analytics, making this a good fit for someone who enjoys both technical delivery and the financial context behind the systems they support.

The Role

• Integrate Orchestrade with other enterprise systems in partnership with software developers and finance stakeholders.
• Deploy, administer and maintain the platform, with a focus on availability, performance and reliable day-to-day operation.
• Implement and optimise financial models, curves and risk analytics within the Orchestrade environment.
• Monitor performance, investigate technical issues and deliver practical improvements.
• Provide technical support and training so end users can use the platform effectively.
• Keep current with relevant developments in financial technology and apply them where they improve the platform.

What We're Looking For

• Strong, hands‑on experience working with Orchestrade.
• Programming and scripting skills in Python and SQL, particularly for automation and systems integration.
• A sound understanding of financial instruments, risk analytics and market data.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and finance teams.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, engineering or a related discipline.

Desirable Experience

Experience using C# and .NET to customise Orchestrade would be useful but is not essential.

This could suit an Orchestrade engineer, application specialist or front-to-back financial systems professional who wants to take a central role in a new platform build while remaining close to both engineering and financial users.
