Orthopedic Surgery Opening in ME Located in Presque Isle, MEPosition Highlights:
- Full-time, hospital-employed Orthopedic Surgery opportunity
- Join 3 Orthopedic Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers with a full ancillary support team
- General Orthopedics including hip, knee, shoulder, fractures, joint injections, and casting
- Candidates must provide knee and total hip care
- Flexibility to develop subspecialty interests
- Blocked OR time with 4 operating rooms
- Initially 1 dedicated OR day per week with ability to utilize additional open OR time
- Dedicated in-office X-ray with Radiology Technician
- 2 ultrasound machines and mini C-arm available
- On-site Physiatry, Interventional Pain, and medical and surgical Podiatry services
- Strong Anesthesiology, Radiology, Surgical Technologist, and 24/7 Hospitalist support
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Approximately 18 patients per day
- Call schedule of approximately 1:4, occasionally 1:3
- APP provides first call up to 15 days per month
- Average of 1 call weekend per month
- Leadership and teaching opportunities available
- Cerner EMR
- J-1 waiver sponsorship available with support for a pathway to permanent residency Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual base salary of $535,000-$635,000
- Productivity incentive of up to $40,000 annually
- $15,000 sign-on bonus
- $15,000 relocation assistance
- $20,000 per year in student loan repayment with no maximum
- 328 hours / 41 days of PTO annually
- $4,000 annual professional development/CME allowance

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Must be comfortable providing knee and total hip care Community:
