Overview

As a Technology Architect in the OSS space, you will lead architectural direction for orchestration and service assurance initiatives in a global delivery setting. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical blocks and guide cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes hands-on experience with OSS/BSS platforms, standards, and cloud-native tooling to enable transformation at scale. This is a London-based position with a focus on delivering reliable, integrated OSS solutions that align with Infosys’ digital transformation agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive OSS architectural direction and orchestration strategy
  • Lead teams and provide architectural guidance across OSS/BSS domains
  • Collaborate with business to translate requirements into technical components
  • Oversee deployment and integration of COTS platforms (HP, Nokia, Ericsson, Ciena) and standards
  • Engage with cloud (AWS/Azure), DevOps (CI/CD, Jenkins), and automation practices
  • Develop APIs, services, and microservices with Java, Python, and related tech
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, fault management, and event correlation
  • Promote TMF APIs, ODA, ONAP adherence and other relevant standards
Key requirements
  • 12+ years in networking and telecommunications
  • 7+ years in Service Assurance domain and OSS/BSS
  • Hands-on experience with COTS products (HP, Nokia, Ericsson, Ciena)
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, monitoring and security
  • Deep understanding of TMF APIs, ODA, ONAP and other standards
  • Proficiency in AWS and Azure
  • CI/CD, DevOps, Jenkins
  • Programming in Python; familiarity with Java, Web services, JSON, Spring Boot, Microservices, API exposure
  • Automation testing with Python
  • Development tools: Core Java, JSON, HTML5, CSS3, Angular5, React
  • Deployment tools: Puppet, Chef, Ansible
  • Knowledge of YANG/NETCONF
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
  • Ability to gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate into technical solutions
