Glasgow / Aberdeen / Inverness / Reading - 2/3 days a week on site

I'm supporting a leading organisation looking for an experienced OT Security Platform Engineer to support the security, resilience and ongoing improvement of OT platforms and infrastructure across critical operational environments.

This is a hands‑on role covering OT security, Windows Server, virtualisation, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup/recovery and secure remote access.

Key experience:

  • OT /ICS / critical infrastructure experience
  • Strong Windows Server administration
  • VMware or Hyper‑V
  • Networking and firewall technologies
  • Backup & recovery – ideally Veeam
  • PAM / secure remote access – ideally BeyondTrust
  • Security monitoring, logging and alerting
  • OT DMZ / secure IT‑OT connectivity
  • Platform hardening and vulnerability remediation
  • Experience within energy, utilities, manufacturing or other regulated/CNI environments would be highly beneficial, alongside knowledge of IEC 62443, CAF or NIS Regulations.
