OT Systems Applications Design Engineer

Design OT systems and applications for Celestica in Newmarket, Ontario, using Java, PHP, HTML, and SQL to support manufacturing operations. This Level 08 individual contributor role connects corporate IT compliance with factory-floor Operations Technology. You will develop production equipment integrations, maintain legacy applications, and address site OT security vulnerabilities. The work also includes infrastructure, disaster recovery, system design, testing, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities:

Develop applications integrating production equipment with shop floor controls Lead site OT security and address zero-day vulnerabilities Build software solutions and maintain legacy applications Maintain storage and disaster recovery systems using ZFS familiarity Design, test, troubleshoot, and document technical systems Requirements:

Five to seven years of related experience Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience Robust programming skills in Java, PHP, HTML, and SQL Deep infrastructure knowledge and autonomous working style Linux operating systems and IT hardware knowledge are assets Apply systems design, programming, infrastructure, and OT security expertise to Celestica manufacturing operations in Newmarket.
