Package Manager

In this role you will lead a site team to deliver infrastructure works safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll develop construction methodologies, manage sub-contractors, and align with client and design requirements to drive successful delivery. You will partner with QA, Commercial, and design teams to resolve non-conformances and optimise productivity. This position offers hands-on leadership in a high-profile UK infrastructure portfolio with a strong safety and quality focus.

• Manage site team, subcontractors, suppliers and 3rd parties while enforcing HSE and quality standards
• Develop construction methodology and programme; assist design development; prepare delivery plans including resources, procurement and pre-start documentation
• Supervise, train and mentor site team to optimise performance
• Review contractual agreements; develop site-specific programmes and forecast budgets; monitor progress and report to Senior Package Manager and Commercial team
• Ensure compliance with subcontractor contract conditions; communicate non-conformances and client/designer/RE instructions to QA and Commercial teams

• HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of highways and utility construction techniques and best practices
• Understanding of construction contracts and ability to implement them
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders
• Computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Document Control Systems; AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and adaptable communication style
• CSCS Card
• Training in Health & Safety and Environmental management
