Overview

In this role you will support the delivery of large-scale infrastructure packages by promoting safety culture, coordinating subcontract interfaces, and managing programme-driven logistics and quality. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, timely delivery, and resolution of technical and interface challenges. The position offers involvement in iconic UK projects and a clear path to impact on safety, productivity, and project outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all activities and ensure HSE compliance (RAMS, SSOW)
  • Deliver daily safety briefings and support incident investigations
  • Drive environmental compliance and sustainable practices within the package scope
  • Manage allocated subcontract packages for scope, programme and safety compliance
  • Coordinate design and construction interfaces between subcontractors
  • Ensure subcontractor documentation and reporting meet project standards
  • Support readiness activities and escalate blockers to On Site Logistics Manager
  • Develop and manage short- and medium-term programmes aligned with project schedules
  • Monitor progress, maintain records, and apply short interval control techniques
  • Identify and mitigate sequencing conflicts within package scope
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with programme and productivity targets
  • Coordinate site logistics plans with the wider team and supply chain
  • Review and monitor subcontractor plans and logistics for plant, lifting operations, and resource allocation
  • Analyse package-specific logistical requirements and implement solutions
  • Resolve conflicts and ensure sequencing aligns with programme objectives
  • Oversee technical delivery and quality assurance for allocated works
  • Manage NCRs and collaborate with design and quality teams to resolve technical issues and meet deadlines
Key requirements
  • BSc, MSc, or BEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent GNVQ
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Experience in related environment
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Good understanding of contracts and notifiable events (NEC3)
  • General construction experience on large infrastructure projects
  • Awareness of procurement processes and level of detail in scope documents and WI
  • Experience managing site activities & monitoring/reporting on subcontractor performance
  • Experience in multidisciplinary interfaces environment
