As Prefabrication Deputy Package Manager, you guide a package within a major infrastructure program, aligning with project goals and timelines. You collaborate closely with PMs, direct reports, and subcontractors to ensure safe, quality‑driven execution. You lead interfaces, progress reviews, and coordination across teams, while advising on prefabrication choices and production equipment. You drive compliance with standards, buildability reviews, ITPs, MARs, and cost control, shaping a safe, efficient precast operation. This role offers impact on a high‑profile UK project and opportunities to advance lean, automated construction methodologies.

- Lead and manage the assigned package to align with project goals and timelines
- Coordinate with Fabrication Project Manager and hub teams
- Review interfaces and communicate with Preconstruction Leads and management
- Organise site progress meetings to monitor progress, quality and safety
- Collaborate with commercial to review tender information and subcontracts
- Work with procurement to source equipment and materials
- Participate in daily briefings and weekly coordination meetings
- Provide specialist advice on prefabrication packages and production equipment
- Promote setting up methodologies for automated industries
- Ensure equipment complies with BS/EN standards
- Review drawings for buildability and product selection
- Produce/approve ITPs and monitor their implementation
- Prepare MARs for used products and obtain approvals
- Maintain ramps supply chain compliance with approvals
- Ensure quality construction standards and suitable techniques
- Plan methods, sequences and resources; monitor weekly programs
- Coordinate with cost control on progress and cost changes
- Maintain safety across all works
- Fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities in precast yard and with subcontractors
- Comply with company policies
- Undertake other reasonable duties
- Experience leading heavy civil work on construction sites and managing logistics for civil works
- Prefabrication experience in heavy civil or similar large infrastructure projects (preferably nuclear)
- Experience with lean management and marine/offshore civil works (highly desirable)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven project management, financial management, change management and facilitation abilities
- Cost control, risk, schedule and change management capabilities
- Excellent presentation, influencing and facilitation skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills with network development
