• Opportunity to grow and lead the La Crosse pain medicine practice
• Adult pain medicine with a strong focus on interventional care
• Full scope of interventional pain procedures
• Procedures performed primarily in a newly designed fluoroscopy suite opened in 2024
• State-of-the-art hospital and procedural facilities
• Clinical practice primarily consists of ambulatory outpatient clinic and procedure suite
• Support from adjacent Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery practices
• Multidisciplinary approach to patients with complex pain conditions
• Academic appointment available based on qualifications
• Opportunities for teaching, research, leadership, and administrative involvement
• Opportunity to educate and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students
Procedures:
• Spinal injections
• Radiofrequency ablations
• Peripheral and spinal cord stimulator trials and placements
• Ultrasound-guided procedures
• Intrathecal pump placement and management
• Advanced and emerging interventional pain procedures
Qualifications:
• MD or DO
• ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship training required
• Board certified or board eligible in Pain Medicine
• Board certified or board eligible in base specialty
• Ability to perform a broad range of fluoroscopic pain medicine procedures
• Comfortable managing complex pain patients through a multidisciplinary approach
• Willingness to teach and supervise fellows, residents, and medical students
• Ability to collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams
