Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 hours per day

Position Summary

The Veterans Affairs facility in Lebanon, PA is seeking a qualified Pain Management Physician to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop individualized pain management treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and non-surgical pain treatment services.
• Perform appropriate pain management procedures within approved clinical privileges.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients regarding pain management options and treatment expectations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Follow all VA clinical, safety, and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia .
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management/Pain Medicine .
• Current BLS and ACLS .
• Active DEA registration and NPI .
• Relevant clinical experience in evaluating and treating acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Ability to meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements.
