Palo Alto Firewall Migration Engineer

Lead Palo Alto firewall migrations in Montreal with three office days weekly, applying network security expertise and bilingual communication skills.

This full time L3 Network Engineer position focuses on Palo Alto Networks firewall engineering. You will support migration, implementation, troubleshooting, policy optimization, and security hardening across enterprise environments. The work includes collaboration with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute Palo Alto firewall migration projects
• Review policies, optimize rules, and harden security
• Manage deployments, configuration changes, and troubleshooting
• Support VPN, GlobalProtect, NAT, routing, and security policies
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures

Requirements:

• Five-plus years with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• Eight to ten years in network security or firewall engineering
• Expertise in Panorama, GlobalProtect, IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention
• Strong TCP/IP, routing, NAT, VPN, and security knowledge
• Bilingual communication and stakeholder management skills
