Part-Time Controller

Creative Financial Staffing is partnered with a real estate management firm seeking a Part-Time Controller to lead their team. They expect for this person to work 3 days / 24 hours per week.

About the Opportunity:

• Company was founded in 2014 and continuing to grow
  
• Portfolio includes a mix of commercial and residential properties
• This role reports directly to the CFO and has process control for month-, quarter-, and year-end close

Key Responsibilities for the Par-Time Controller:

• Own month-end close for 20 properties
• Oversee portfolio closes for 4 property accountants
  • Coaching these individuals
• Budget to actuals, variance analysis
• Calculate quarter-end investor distribution

Qualifications for the Part-Time Controller:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or experience equivalent (+4 years)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in property accounting with 2+ years in a management role
• Experience with Yardi software
• Availability to work 24 hours per week within M-F timeframe

Hourly Rate, depending on experience:
$85 - 100 per hour
