PART-TIME NIGHT AUDITOR

Rosemead House is seeking a polished, personable, and service-driven Guest Experience Agent / Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional hospitality, has a strong attention to detail, and thrives in a guest-focused environment.
As a key member of the Front Office team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and memorable arrival experience, managing front desk and reservation functions, assisting with valet and guest services, and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel throughout each shift.
The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, discretion, initiative, and a genuine passion for exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome arriving and departing guests with warmth, professionalism, and a refined level of service.
- Efficiently manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and front desk operations.
- Handle reservation inquiries and bookings by phone, email, and online platforms accurately and professionally.
- Provide personalized recommendations for accommodations, dining, amenities, transportation, and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed guest profiles to support personalized service.
- Ensure guest rooms are properly prepared and presented prior to arrival, coordinating with Housekeeping and other departments as required.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests promptly, professionally, and discreetly.
- Handle guest concerns and complaints with diplomacy, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to service recovery.
- Safely park, move, and retrieve guest vehicles as part of valet services while maintaining the highest standards of safety and confidentiality.
- Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, deliveries, and hotel-related errands.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Office, and Management to ensure seamless daily operations and room readiness.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming appearance throughout the front desk, lobby, and valet areas.
- Conduct guest room deliveries and other guest service requests as required.
- Follow all hotel security procedures, including completion of required security checklists.
- Observe, document, and promptly report any security or safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Support the hotel team with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Front Office and Reservations.
- Provide Night Auditor coverage on nights during the Night Manager's scheduled days off.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality education or training is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality, hotels, guest services, or high-end customer service is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
- Excellent problem-solving and service-recovery skills.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Previous experience with hotel property management or reservation systems is an asset.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence is required.
- Ability to drive a standard/manual transmission is required.
- Comfortable driving and handling guest vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Availability to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and move comfortably throughout the property.
- Ability to lift and handle guest luggage and respond promptly to guest and operational needs.
- Strong understanding of guest privacy, confidentiality, safety, and security procedures.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
