Overview

In this role you will act as the primary technical enablement resource for UKI channel partners, building their capability to independently conduct technical discovery, solution positioning, and sales activities. You will partner with Partner Managers and partner technical leadership to grow NetApp mindshare and long-term partner capability across the portfolio. Your work focuses on partner engagement, technical readiness, and alignment to partner goals rather than direct sales execution. This is an opportunity to shape partner ecosystems, scale technical competency, and drive strategic enablement in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main technical enablement resource for assigned Channel partners in the UKI region
  • Develop partner technical capability for independent discovery, positioning, and sales activities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior partner technical leaders and partner-facing teams
  • Influence partner technical strategy by aligning NetApp solutions with partner offerings and GTM motions
  • Plan and deliver technical enablement activities with Partner Managers (QBRs, lunch-and-learns, workshops)
  • Design engagements that educate and enable partner technical teams and support deals from a technical lens
  • Assess partner technical maturity and tailor enablement plans to close capability gaps and influence GTM
  • Provide ongoing compliance checks and train partner teams to meet Global NetApp Partner compliance
  • Educate partners on NetApp fit within their portfolio and customer use cases
  • Guide partners on positioning NetApp solutions within their offerings
  • Support technical whiteboarding and solution discussions with partners
  • Ensure partners understand the full NetApp portfolio across infrastructure, data management, and cloud use cases
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure technologies (storage, datacentre architecture, networking, compute)
  • 5+ years enabling channel partners in a technical capacity (e.g., SE, Channel SE, or PSA)
  • Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and how partners position, sell, and support enterprise tech solutions
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and build credibility with senior technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a matrixed environment across partner and internal teams
