As a Partner Solutions Architect for EMEA, you’ll guide AWS Consulting and Technology Partners to architect and bring to market solutions built on AWS services. You’ll deliver technical enablement, publish best practices, and support go-to-market motions to drive partner-originated business and customer value. You’ll act as the technical reference for Next-Gen Development and AI-DLC across the region, shaping partner adoption and roadmap influence. This role blends hands-on prototyping with strategic collaboration across partner, field, and service teams. You’ll work from Madrid with regional travel to engage partners and events.
Responsibilities- Guide partner go-to-market activity with technical guidance and thought leadership on AI-assisted development and code modernization
- Enable internal AWS teams and partners on AI-DLC methodologies and AI-native IDEs, covering positioning and workshops
- Create architectural guidance and best practices for Next-Generation Software Development
- Serve as the technical reference for Next-Gen Development within the EMEA Partner Organization
- Collaborate with AWS account teams, professional services, and sales to align partner capabilities with customer demand
- Build prototypes and proofs-of-concept demonstrating AI-DLC in practice
- Represent partner needs to AWS service teams, influencing roadmaps and feature priorities
- Contribute to the Partner Solutions Architecture community through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and hiring
- Engage with partners through AI-DLC accreditation and enablement content
- Travel within the region to work directly with partners and attend industry events
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience communicating to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives
- Experience in a technical role within a sales organization
- Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Technical degree (CS, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Experience in software development, application architecture, or DevOps
- Working knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, containerization
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, TypeScript, Go, .NET)
- Experience designing and delivering technical workshops for engineering audiences
- Experience in a partner-facing or channel-facing technical role
- Fluent written and spoken English and another European language
