Position Overview:
A well-established academic medical center in Greenville, North Carolina is seeking a Transfusion Medicine Pathologist / Hematopathologist to provide ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative pathology team with the potential for a permanent position in the future.
Schedule:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Rotating night and weekend call
Immediate and ongoing need during recruitment
Position Details:
Provide transfusion medicine and hematopathology services
Work alongside an established pathology department with 4 clinical pathologists
Utilize EPIC EMR system
Facility Highlights:
974-bed Level I Trauma Center

Academic and collaborative environment
Requirements:
Board Certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) required
Board Certification in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine preferred
Minimum of 3 5 years of experience preferred
