AP/CP Pathology Locums Job in Northern West Virginia IMLC Accepted Seeking M-F Full-Time Coverage Starting January 2027 Due to Retirement
Jackson and Coker is partnered with a hospital in northern West Virginia that needs 2-3 AP/CP Pathologists to help fill a full-time schedule starting in January 2027 & ongoing. This is a facility-based laboratory opportunity that allows for expedited privileging & a consistent schedule going through June 2027 at a minimum. Are you available?

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active + unrestricted West Virginia medical license and/or an active LOQ with the IMLC required
Board Certification required and/or truly Board Eligible
AP/CP Pathology / Surgical Pathology
Seeking candidates that can cover a minimum of 1 consistent week per month starting Jan & ongoing
FACILITY STAFF: Will work alongside of a minimum of 1-2 other Pathologists each day
FACILITY STAFF: Will have histo-techs available on site each day
VOLUME : Can anticipate 30-40 reads per day
Prefer candidates that are willing to help with grossing as needed (for cases not performed by histotech) but this is NOT required
Frozen sections are about 3-4/day usually skin
FACILITY DETAIL: 175 + bed facility, Epic EMR inpatient, Clinisys SQ Lab equipment
Easy to travel to location, approximately 1 hour from nearest international airport
