Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient (Level 2 Trauma Center)

Schedule & call details:

  • Shift Structure: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Beeper Call Coverage
  • Call Type: Beeper call for unassigned patients
  • Call Response Time: 20-minute response time required

Clinical scope & required procedures:

  • Anatomic Pathology: Surgical Pathology, Frozen Sections, Cytology (GYN & Non-GYN), and Performance of FNAs
  • On-Site Evaluations: EBUS, CT-guided, and Ultrasound-guided biopsy evaluations
  • Clinical Pathology Oversight: Laboratory coverage including Hematology, Microbiology, Chemistry/Serology, and Blood Bank
  • Support Staff: Full access to departmental support staff

Candidate requirements & licensing:

  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology (Fellowship Preferred)
  • Licensing Requirements: Open to all candidates No state license required to bid
