Patient Data Analytics Intern

Apply data analytics and dashboard skills as a Patient Data Analytics Intern at AstraZeneca in Mississauga, with flexible onsite and virtual work.

This 12-month internship supports patient data management and insights under the Senior Manager, Data Science & Patient Insights. You will collaborate with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, vendor, IT, Compliance, and Privacy partners. Your work will inform decision-making and patient-centric strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support analytics projects involving Patient Support Programs and patient data
• Develop and manage user-friendly Power BI dashboards with KPIs
• Communicate analytical results, insights, and limitations to stakeholders
• Process and sanitize datasets using R or another tool
• Document datasets, reports, processes, and data standards

Requirements:

• Full-time availability from January through December 2027
• Advanced Excel knowledge and strong analytical thinking
• Foundational statistics understanding, including regression and hypothesis testing
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Preferred experience with R, Python, SQL, or business intelligence reporting

Build practical experience in patient data analytics, Power BI reporting, and responsible data governance at AstraZeneca Canada.
