Overview
In this role you contribute to a high-availability global payments network within the TNS Global NOC. You will monitor network health, troubleshoot Linux-based payment tools, and manage incident lifecycles to meet service SLAs. You work as part of an operations team, coordinating with internal and external groups to resolve outages and support change activities. This position offers hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade networking, 24/7 operations, and a chance to shape reliability for a critical financial service. You’ll collaborate across teams and contribute to post-incident analysis that informs ongoing improvements.
Responsibilities- Monitor and manage the Global TNS Payments network and its health
- Troubleshoot Linux servers hosting payment tools and the IP transport network
- Log and manage incidents through to resolution, with timely escalation and updates
- Coordinate with internal support groups and third parties during incidents
- Perform post-incident analysis and support change management activities
- Previous experience in a network operations centre or technical support role
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or Salesforce)
- Experience with Linux operating systems and CLI
- Experience with Fortinet FortiGate/FortiSwitch/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer
- Understanding of SD-WAN and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Cisco routers and switches
- Understanding of IP routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF)
- Analytical fault-finding approach
- Tenacious and inquisitive mindset
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Linux operating systems and CLI
- Fortinet Fortinet devices and management platforms
- SD-WAN and cloud (AWS, Azure)
