Payment Operations Specialist Chargebacks

Payment operations specialists bring analytical accuracy to chargebacks, reconciliations, and transaction reviews supporting WCLC’s lottery activities across the Prairie Provinces and the North.

This Payment Operations Specialist supports daily payment management and related operational processes. The work includes reviewing transactions, managing exceptions, supporting fraud prevention, and coordinating payment service providers. Strong organization, sound judgment, Excel proficiency, and clear communication support accurate processing and effective collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, investigate, document, track, and report payment chargebacks
• Monitor exceptions, cash adjustments, and Finance reconciliations
• Review player deposits and withdrawals for irregularities
• Coordinate payment provider portals, reporting, issues, and escalations
• Support fraud monitoring, investigations, analysis, and risk mitigation

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound judgment when investigating and evaluating information
• Strong organization and prioritization across deadlines
• Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
