As a Stripe Payments Analyst, you will help Hastings shape, monitor and optimise its payment capability during the transition to Stripe. You will provide operational insight and performance analysis to improve customer outcomes and strengthen controls within a payments-focused finance team. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver actionable insights and support a resilient payments operation. Responsibilities
  • Operate and optimise Stripe-based payments, using Stripe Dashboard and Radar within a payments-focused environment
  • Analyze payment data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for performance improvement
  • Monitor payment risk, fraud prevention, transaction monitoring and implement operational controls
  • Ensure adherence to payment compliance standards (PCI DSS, Bacs, card schemes) and support compliance activities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and external partners to deliver insights and improvements
  • Support ongoing enhancements to payment processes and reporting to strengthen the payments operation
Key requirements
  • Hands-on Stripe experience (Stripe Dashboard and Radar) in a payments-focused environment
  • Strong understanding of payment systems, gateways, card processing and payments operations
  • Proven analytical skills with ability to interpret payment data and deliver insights
  • Knowledge of payment risk, fraud prevention, monitoring, and performance optimisation
  • Understanding of payment compliance requirements (PCI DSS, Bacs, card schemes)
  • Experience with reporting and data analysis tools and strong stakeholder management
