Title: Payment Poster

Hybrid Schedule:

• Monday -Thursday 9a-5p and Friday 8a-4p
• Onsite days M, W, F.
• Remote days T, Th.

Compensation: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Job Description:

-Payment Posting: Review and accurately post a high volume of patient payments and insurance payments (both manual checks and electronic funds transfers/EFT) into the practice management system.

-EOB & ERA Interpretation: Read and interpret complex Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) from multiple distinct insurance payers.

-Reconciliation: Balance and reconcile all posted daily financial transactions against batch totals and bank deposits to maintain precise financial ledger accuracy. These payments will need to be gathered from either bank website or EFT vendors.

-Adjustment & Denial Entry: Apply accurate transaction codes, comment codes, adjustments, contractual write-offs, and denial reasoning codes to patient accounts. xhqgsiq

-Credit Cards: Answer incoming patient credit card payments and put through Credit Card Terminal.
