We’re looking for a Payment Processing Manager. This is a new role. As we continue scaling our marketplace and subscription products, we're looking for a Payment Processing Manager who will optimize payment performance, improve conversion rates, reduce fraud and chargebacks, and drive smarter payment strategies across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the end-to-end payment ecosystem across marketplace and subscription products.
  • Increase payment approval rates through routing, processor optimization, and payment recovery strategies.
  • Lead fraud prevention, chargeback management, and payment risk initiatives while balancing conversion and security.
  • Improve checkout, recurring billing, and subscription payment performance to maximize revenue and reduce churn.
  • Analyze payment data and implement data-driven improvements across the payment funnel.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Trust & Safety, and payment partners to deliver a seamless payment experience.
  • Evaluate new payment methods, processors, and technologies to support business growth.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in payments, payment operations, fintech, e-commerce, subscriptions, or marketplaces.
  • Experience with subscription billing, recurring payments, payment optimization, and payment recovery strategies.
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention, chargeback management, payment risk, and payment compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate payment data into actionable business decisions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, and Compliance teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of payment gateways, processors, acquiring, card networks, authorization flows, and BIN routing is an asset.
