• Design and review scalable payment architectures for high-volume environments
• Define non-functional requirements (latency, throughput, availability, recoverability, observability, security)
• Shape API strategies and event-driven designs that meet extensibility and regulatory needs
• Architect and implement Single Sign-On and distributed identity solutions across platforms
• Integrate enterprise systems with Identity Providers (IdP) and support IAM platforms
• Unify user portals and deliver seamless cross-platform experiences with strong identity controls
• Contribute to PCI DSS scoping and secure-by-design approaches in cloud/hybrid environments
• Participate in architectural governance and support pre-sales and bid shaping
• Translate architectural decisions into executive narratives outlining trade-offs and risks
• Flex across wider architecture responsibilities beyond payments when needed
• Explore AI-driven optimisation, intelligent routing, fraud modelling, and AIOps with practical use cases

• Design and review scalable payment architectures for high-volume environments
• Govern non-functional requirements (latency, throughput, availability, recoverability, observability, security)
• Shape API strategies and distributed system designs
• Architect and implement SSO and distributed identity solutions
• Integrate with IdPs (prefer FIS Infinity IdP)
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot IAM platforms
• Ensure secure authentication, authorisation and identity federation
• Drive strategies to unify user portals across platforms
• Contribute to PCI DSS scoping and secure-by-design approaches in cloud/hybrid environments
• Participate in architectural governance and stakeholder communications
• Support pre-sales with credible target-state solutions
