Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll Associate to join their team. This is a critical, time-sensitive role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement into a supervisory position. If you are a detail-oriented payroll professional with experience supporting large-volume, multi-provincial Canadian payroll and working with Oracle, this role provides an opportunity to support the payroll function for a large Canadian employee population, participate in system testing and enhancements, and manage important year-end activities. You will play an important role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process payroll for a large Canadian employee population.
- Support and oversee the full payroll function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Experience using Oracle
- Manage year-end payroll activities, including preparation and processing of required employee tax documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive payroll information.
- Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Adapt effectively to changing requirements, competing priorities, and time-sensitive deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll issues and support continuous process improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle.
- Experience processing high-volume payroll, preferably for 500 or more employees.
- Strong experience with multi-provincial Canadian payroll is required.
- PCP designation is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Quebec payroll requirements is considered a significant asset.
- Experience with payroll system testing, enhancements, implementations, or upgrades.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to payroll accuracy and confidentiality.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
