Responsibilities
- Complete payroll cycle for non-unionized head office employees
- Complete payroll cycle for unionized and non-unionized
- Prepare various payroll-related journal entries
- Analysis of payroll-related general ledger accounts
- Manage taxable benefits
- Review discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll
- Verify and approve payments to various organizations
- Assist in updating training data as required
- Manage the CNESST Régime Rétrospectif financial file
- Produce various reports for internal, external and statistical requests
- Produce annual government reports
- Support the implementation of special projects
- Participate in the standardization of processes and procedures
Qualifications
- ACP certification or academic degree relevant to payroll (an asset)
- 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Experience working with Employeur D/Nethris or other ERP systems (an asset)
- Proficiency in Excel
- Bilingual (an asset)
- - English needed to communicate with candidates outside of quebec
